Who am I to judge what works for you? I remember my brother and his wife had a $600 crib they used like three times. I say whatever works, as long as it's not harming the child, is fine. We have a crib all set to go, but this was sure interesting to read, as I had never heard of a floor bed for an infant. The pictures are hilarious :) I'm due with my first, a boy, in four weeks.
