While he fishes, I shoot.

Then, while he cooks, I shoot some more.

And sometimes, when he aims, I shoot at the same time.

Quite often, I let him shoot while I make yet another attempt at the unassisted, outdoor handstand.

But really, I shoot to remember. And to appreciate.

Hey There! I had fun jogging with you in Central Park. Humidity, confusing map and all. I hope you're back mile high safe and sound. Me? I just had cheese curds.
  • Julie! I've never had cheese curds but am not ruling them out as something I may crave later on in my pregnancy. Thanks for the company during our 5k and the wonderful conversation!

can I just say that I'm not officially jealous while stuck in the absolute middle of Indiana? I need me some Colorado. That's where you're at, right?
  • Emily, I have a guest room. Smack dab next to the mountains in Boulder, Colorado. Yours for the asking.
  • And thank goodness you do, so that people like me can enjoy vicariously through the captured images.
  • Thanks Amanda.

(I missed seeing you this past weekend at BlogHer...like so many other ladies that I didn't get the chance to see. So many women, so very little time.)
  • So pretty. I've seen that mountain and lake combo before...where is this?
  • I feel like I have lots of these mountain lake shots, but then again, I do enjoy a good alpine lake. These were from backpacking last weekend at Coney Lake in the Indian Peaks.
